Pyrite Shield Ring (Size 7) - One of a Kind
This metallic mineral has a fascinating past. Pyrite’s name comes from the Greek, pyrites lithos, “the stone which strikes fire." In the early mining days of California, novice gold prospectors mistook tiny pieces of pyrite for gold when panning; thus, its common nickname 'fool's gold.'
We set this lovely rough top cabochon of pyrite in a band of silver and set it atop a hefty hammered texture ring. So incredibly sparkly!
Spiritually, pyrite is known for wealth, abundance, and confidence.
The Details:
- Solid recycled sterling silver.
- Genuine round cut Peruvian pyrite.
- High polished finish.
- US ring size 8 but due to the ring's width, it fits as a 7.
- Stone is approx 0.6" large.
