Mexican Vera Cruz Amethyst Specimen

This variety of amethyst is extracted only from the Las Vigas Mine in Vera Cruz Mexico and their unique crystal formations are known to have incredible luster and clarity. They range in color from a very light shade of lavender to a very rare deep purple coloring and they can actually form with a variety of attributes such as phantoms, single and double terminated points, as well as in cluster form.

This gorgeous Vera Cruz specimen shows their erratic "spray" structure as well as a bit of host stone. A great piece to add to your collection.
