Shamsun Pyrite Ring - OOAK
This glittering pyrite ring has a secret: it's aged VERY well.
These natural pyrite sun formations were formed about 350 million years ago under great pressure between seams of coal. Thus they are usually found where coal is mined. Although pyrite is pretty common worldwide, the disk form is unique to Illinois where the geological climate is just right.
Nestled in a six pronged sterling setting and perfect for a winter statement ring. Set in a sterling silver bezel on a comfortable split band.
Sterling silver. Approx 35mm x 35mm. US size 7.
