Common Ground Adornments
Amazonite + Sterling Studs
Amazonite has an extremely long and storied history. Treasured by the people of pre-Columbian South and Central America, the turquoise mineral is believed to have been worn as far back as the 10th century BC. According to legend, the warrior women of an ancient Amazon tribe in Brazil used amazonite stones to adorn their shields, cure illnesses, and heal wounds.
These bright Caribbean blue amazonites shine bright. With a unique serrated edge, we love these as a dainty departure from traditional studs.
Sterling silver and natural amazonite. 5mm large.
