COVID-19 | Things You Should Know

Hello friends! We are so happy to be back open! We wanted to keep you updated on what we're doing to keep you and your family safe:

people + distancing:

In an effort to reduce congestion, we have redesigned the shop to provide room to appropriately distance. We have removed all soft surfaces to ensure more thorough cleaning as well as removed commonly high touch areas like our center display table.

We will only be allowing MAX FOUR people in the store at a time.  We ask children under the age of 12 to remain outside as well as strollers and luggage.

Every person entering the shop will require a mask or appropriate face covering as mandated by New York State. We ask that you keep your mask on for the duration of your time with us. We will be providing hand sanitizer at the door.

You are free to touch items, but please ask to try pieces on so that we may pull it aside for additional sanitation after.

Restrooms are for staff and enrolled students during class time ONLY.

workshops + classes:

We are currently running at half capacity for all workshops and lectures to increase the opportunity for social distancing. There will be 3-4 people MAX per class. You will be required to wear a mask throughout the duration of this class.

Please note that we will distance you as far as possible, but you may end up in close quarters with another person should you have to pass one another in our narrow space. If you are uncomfortable with any of the above, PLEASE refrain from signing up. There will be more opportunities to learn! We promise!

staff + hygiene:

All members of staff are given a mandatory symptom check before the day begins. We will be maintaining these health logs on-site that document date, time, and results. If a staff member is showing a fever or ANY sign of illness, they will be sent home immediately.

If a staff member tests positive for COVID-19, we will immediately notify state and local health departments and cooperate with contact tracing efforts, including notification of potential contacts, such as workers or visitors who had close contact with the individual, while maintaining confidentiality required by state and federal law and regulations.

Masks will be worn by staff at all times. We will stay 6 feet apart unless client requests otherwise.

We will be adhering to the hygiene and sanitation requirements from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Department of Health and will be maintaining cleaning logs on-site that document date, time, and scope of cleaning.

We have the right to refuse service to anyone at any time.

communication + responsibility:

Clear signage will be placed both outside and inside our storefront with these guidelines. We ask that everyone respects these guidelines to ensure that we can give you the best experience possible while also keeping everyone safe. We know it's weird. But we'll do what we can to keep you comfortable so that all of us small businesses can keep on going.

Thank you so much!
